Footprints by snyxcom

Larkfield Property
Week of Monday 7 to Friday 11 September 2026

Your team walked through the prototypes 51 times last week.

Six of you spent 4 hours 12 minutes across three prototypes, most of it on Tuesday in the Lettings desk. Wednesday’s release fixed the button everyone was fighting with on Monday. One thing needs a decision from you before the viewing flow can move on.

Two minute read. Every number on this page comes from your own team’s sessions alone.

One footprint per session. Tuesday was the busy day, when Priya and Tom worked the Active leads table for most of the afternoon. The Rent review builder only picked up on Thursday, once Marcus had the new version to try.

  • 51 sessions

Up from 34 the week before

  • 6 people

Priya, Tom, Hannah, Marcus, Dev and Sophie

  • 5 releases

One a day, two of them fixing things you found

What went live and what it changed

Each release is matched to what your team did before and after it, so you can see whether it helped.

  1. Monday08:40

Active leads table, first cut Lettings desk

The screen most of the week was spent on. It shipped with a button labelled “Viewing booked” that read like a status, not an action. That mistake shows up below.

  2. Tuesday17:10

Tenant detail with arrears history Tenant portal

Hannah opened it eleven times on Wednesday and read to the bottom every time. Nobody got stuck.

  3. Wednesday12:05

“Viewing booked” renamed to “Book viewing” Lettings desk

Fixed. Fourteen rage clicks on Monday and Tuesday, none after lunch on Wednesday. Renaming it was the whole fix.

  4. Thursday09:30

Rent review builder, working version Rent review builder

Marcus and Dev put 47 minutes into it the same day. The Export button is not wired yet. Three people found that out by clicking it.

  5. Friday15:45

Saved filters on Active leads Lettings desk

Answers Hannah’s question from Wednesday. Too late in the week to see anyone use it yet.

Where people got stuck

Named by the control, not the pixel. A rage click is the same spot hit three or more times in a second. A dead click is a click that did nothing.

  • ‘Viewing booked’ on the Active leads table

Lettings desk, Priya and Tom, Monday and Tuesday

Fourteen rage clicks by two people who expected it to open the booking form. It was a status badge. Wednesday’s release turned it into a button that does what it says.

    Replay saved: Tom’s Tuesday session

    Fixed Wednesday

  • ‘Export’ in the Rent review builder

Rent review builder, Marcus, Dev and Sophie, Thursday

Nine dead clicks. The button is drawn but not connected, so it should never have looked live. It now reads “Export, coming Tuesday” until it works.

    Replay saved: Marcus’s Thursday session

    Goes live Tuesday

  • ‘Arrears over 30 days’ filter chip

    Tenant portal, Tom, Wednesday

Six rage clicks in one session. The chip toggles on a single click and Tom seems to have expected it to stay put. One person, one afternoon, so it is being watched rather than changed.

Nobody opened the Archive screen. If that stays true next week the suggestion will be to drop it from the prototype.

Questions and answers

Everything your team typed into the comment box on a prototype, with how quickly each was answered.

  • Priya and Tom · Viewing flow · Tuesday 15:20

Should a viewing be bookable before the first call with a lead?

Priya wants it bookable straight away so nothing stalls. Tom says only after the call so nobody turns up for a lead who has not been spoken to. Both work. The viewing flow is on hold until you pick one.

    Needs a decision from you

  • Hannah · Active leads table · Wednesday 11:20

Can I save the filters I set on Active leads? I rebuild the same three every morning.

Yes. Saved filters went live on Friday afternoon.

    Answered Friday

Six people this week. Tracking ran on local hardware, not a third-party service.
